Are you desperate to move house but worried you can’t sell your existing home? 

Worry no more!

There is a way to take all that stress away – Part Exchanging your home for a new Ogilvie Homes property can eliminate all that hassle, meaning all you need to do is concentrate on moving.

Are you eligible for the Ogilvie Homes Part Exchange incentive?

To take advantage of this incentive the current value of your existing home cannot exceed 70% of the value of your new Ogilvie Home. Your property must be in good condition, any alterations or extensions you have added must have the necessary planning consent and paperwork available for inspection, no major repairs or maintenance should be required and there should be no reason the property cannot be mortgageable. We would usually only consider Part Exchange on properties that are within reasonable travelling distance to either the development you have chosen or our offices.

What next?

Once you have chosen your new Ogilvie home and paid your reservation fee, we will arrange for an independent survey from a local Estate Agents accompanied by a representative from Ogilvie Homes to inspect the property and discuss the suitability of Part Exchange, however, if we cannot agree on a fair price we will refund your reservation fee.

Once you are happy with the offer your reservation fee is offset against the purchase of your new property and becomes non-refundable.

After we receive the survey report and providing everything is fine, we will confirm our offer to purchase your existing home. At this point, the missives will be sent directly to your solicitor and you will have 14 days to conclude at which time your deposit is payable.
